About Me
Hello, my name is Lisa Walding and I have been in the hairdressing Industry for 24 years. Since 2007, I have been the proud Owner/Manager of Talking Heads Hair Salon.
I have earned a strong reputation in the Northampton area for providing a professional hairdressing service in a friendly and relaxed environment. Talking Heads Hair Salon cater to women, men and children and we are experienced in a wide range of services including haircuts, colours, perms and highlighting.
The salon was established in the 1970s and is the place where I qualified as a Junior Stylist following completion of a two-year NVQ Level 2 Apprenticeship.
To further my experience I then went onto another Salon for 3 years where I completed NVQ Level 3 to become a Senior Stylist. Thereafter I joined a very busy Salon within my local town, where I built up my confidence and skills for a further 8 and a half years.
In 2007 I was then delighted to take the opportunity to run my ‘Own Salon’ following the retirement of Linda (the previous owner) who had trained me.
I am a very busy Mum of two Daughters, and run a lovely home with my Partner.
I am a Professional, Dependable and Dedicated Hairdresser. I have a fabulous loyal client base of which some have been with me for 20 years and of whom I have formed great trusting relationships with.
The Salon
At Talking Heads’ we are dedicated at providing a professional service to all our clients across Northampton. We understand that visiting is difficult at certain times of the day due to your commitments, so we try to be as adaptable as we can be to your needs. As Talking Heads has been in the industry a long time, it is advisable to book your appointments ahead to avoid disappointment. Our loyal clients love our wide range of services and especially our expertise in Hair up and Wedding Service we offer in and out of the Salon. Specialising in Wedding Hair and Hair Ups, we have been a part of many special occasions over the years and look forward to helping you look and feel amazing whenever you walk through our doors.
